Stick
It on was founded on the principle of the DJ Democracy: we don’t
believe that big names mean big gains when it comes to creating the
best party atmosphere.
It
is our belief that tune selection rather than technical prowess is
the single most important factor in sculpting a great party set. If
the music is right then the vibe will be good.
Everyone
knows what pushes their buttons musically. By encouraging your employees
to play a part in this crucial aspect of your event’s proceedings,
it allows you to create the perfect atmosphere for your event.
In this sense, the event becomes organic. You set the pace & direction
of the night through your musical choices.
How
to Stick It On:
• Typically we invite 12 to 16 DJs to come up
on stage & play for 15 minutes each.
• Where possible, we try to engineer a 50:50 split of guys to
girls & we have found that pairing up colleagues makes for a greater
spectacle.
• No previous DJing experience is necessary as one of our team
will always be on hand to support the DJs throughout the course of
their set.
• Guest DJs can spin vinyl, CDs, mindiscs or MP3’s.
• Musically anything goes from rock to pop, dance to disco,
soul to salsa.
• Each DJ is asked to think up an amusing alias for themselves
which we then use by way of an introduction over the mic. Their name
is further emblazoned on an A3 card which is displayed prominently
before them during their set. We can also incorporate these names
into our macromedia flash movie whereby they can be displayed as animated
text on large screens behind the stage.
